Q: Why can't I throw or place a bomb?
A: You may need to try to use the right control key rather than the left.
The controls are set up so your left hand is in position over the WADX keys and your right hand positioned over the arrow keys (on a many keyboards) and the right control (the action key). This way you can reach all of the buttons without having to move your hands or stretch your fingers unnaturally.
To place a bomb, press the right control key and the s or x key.
To throw a bomb, press the right control key and the w key.
Q: Can I change the controls?
A: Yes. Open gg.conf in a text editor and modify to your play style. For instance, to change the action key to the left control it would look like this:
ACTION = LCONTROL
The README.txt explains this in a bit more detail (at the bottom) and also includes a full list of valid bindings.
Q: Why did you choose this hero?
A: We are fans of the classic era and wanted to make a game that embraced the gameplay of the past. The tiles, slideshows and sounds are all stylized to generate the feel from this era. The title music was even composed on a Commodore 64. Gee Geekers was chosen from many characters because he represents the unlikely hero and someone we can relate to.
